Position: Revenue/Reservations Manager (Full-time)

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Revenue/Reservations Manager to join our team.
The Revenue/Reservations Manager will be responsible for maximising revenues to meet the financial performance objectives of the business.
The successful candidate will be assigned to:
- Work with key stakeholders to develop annual budgets, KPIs and target sets across revenue performance and pricing strategies and tracking of these results.
- Oversee revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotel and manage day to day yield optimisation.
- Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting
- Lead the revenue generating departments including Sales & Marketing and Rooms, whilst maintaining all aspects of competitor intelligence, pricing, management of room inventory, yield opportunities, distribution channels, market segment mix, forecast and budget processes.
- Ensure that all hotel rates and packages are correctly loaded across all distribution channels and liaise with sales and marketing to ensure effective communication of all current rates and packages;
- Proactively develop new tactics and techniques aimed at maximizing yield. Compile competitive market share analysis of the hotel to determine if it receives fair market share and determine how it performs against competitors.
- Provide weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variance and budget comparisons.
- Undertake daily pick-up analysis, strategies, and etc. then track and communicate findings.
- Actively review hotel inventory and identify opportunities for tactical campaign rates as indicated by the weekly forecast.
- Oversee and analyse the performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTA’s, corporate, etc.) Manage and oversee strategy for all 3rd party distribution
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key distribution partners.
- Oversee reservations team
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience from a five-star hotel in a similar capacity
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Opera Cloud.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work systematically to meet deadlines in a fast paced team environment
- The availability to work full time including weekend work as required
- Full work rights in Australia.
