Position: Business Development Executive (Full-time)

The Branksome Hotel & Residences (TBHR), situated within walking distance of Mascot Station and the Domestic airport, provides luxury serviced apartments for short or long stay guests. We are currently looking for an exceptional individual to join the team as full-time Business Development   Executive to aggressively develop existing business and drive new business opportunities in the Accommodation and Events sectors.

 

Reporting to the Department Head and Hotel Manager, the Business Development Executive will be tasked to:

 

  • Identify market segments and target new business in Corporate, Government, Retail, TMC, Event Management companies and Group Markets.
  • Identify potential clients and follow through with active sales calls in line with weekly KPIs.
  • Develop strong relationships with new and existing clients and stakeholders.
  • Actively drive business growth in accommodation, conference and events sales, and manage existing clients.
  • Ensure service apartments meet or exceeds budgeted room sales targets through new and existing business.
  • Work alongside Events team to ensure targets exceed budgeted Conference/Events revenue in soliciting new business.
  • Build profile within designated marketplace through engaging in various channels.
  • Develop advertising materials, as required, and implement promotions
  • Evaluate and improve the hotel’s activity in various sales channels, market sales, event booking centres, electronic lead channels, etc.
  • Host and conduct familiarisations and site inspections for prospective and existing clients and stakeholders.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties per senior team members or Hotel Manager.
  • Ability to prepare to tender for RFPs and produce weekly Sales activities reports.

 

We are looking for someone with:

 

  • Strong hotel sales background, with knowledge of accommodation and conference markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and grow new business.
  • Experience in Corporate and Government procurement.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and engage the team to deliver results.
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to a high level of service standard.
  • Passion to grow the business.
